These drop-in mindfulness practice sessions enable you to explore mindfulnesss of the breath, the body scan practice and mindful movement. All activities are slow and gentle and can be done in a chair if you prefer. There is no spiritual or religious content.
Each session will include 2-3 guided mindfulness practices either sitting, moving or lying down. There is an emphasis on using the breath to calm and settle us, as well as bringing a sense of patience, gentleness and self-care into the practice. There will be some time for reflection and sharing towards the end of the session. All activities are optional.
Who are the sessions suitable for?
These sessions are suitable for adults with all levels of physical fitness and of all ages. No previous experience is required.
