Mid-Cheshire Mind manages an informal drop in centre for people who have had or are currently suffering from mental health problems.
We believe that given the right support every person has the capacity to make changes in their lives.
There are many ways in which talking can help, and we particularly value informal approaches such as self-help groups, and conversations with other service users and staff - all opening up fresh horizons and new potential paths forward.
Mid-Cheshire Mind is a registered charity affiliated to National Mind. The original Winsford group was formed in 1984 and is now based in the centre of the town making it accessible to many local people.
We are also adjacent to large car parking areas, and have disabled access.
Who is the Group For?
Mid-Cheshire Mind can offer support to anyone over the age of 18 from the Mid Cheshire area who may suffer from a mental health problem.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer support to individuals whose main problem is alcohol or drug misuse but we will endeavour to put them in contact with the appropriate service.
How Can I Join?
Anyone who considers that our services could be of benefit, may have immediate access to them by contacting us by telephone, e-mail, or by simply dropping into the centre.
