For young people to develop a sense of self worth, be empowered to be confident, independent adults and learn new skills.

Confidential space for children young people and/ or parents to talk to staff about their worries and concerns, pick up some initial information and guidance and to find out more about the support Visyon offers.

Parent Empower Hour

Parent empower hour is a programme of support that builds on your existing skills, knowledge and expertise as a parent. Its objective is for you to feel confident in your approach to managing and supporting your family’s wellbeing. The workshops are 1 hour long and run for 8 weeks. There is some guided learning and discussions, with opportunities for parents to share and explore their own experiences.

Creative Groups

Learn new skills and express yourself in creative ways. Have fun with likeminded peers in a safe and welcoming environment. Contact us to find out about our current creative workshops.

Advocacy

Often the journey to get the right help and support can be a challenging and complex one. If you would like some help to ensure you understand what choices you have and how to make sure your voice is heard when decisions are being made then our advocacy worker may be able to help.

Counselling

Therapy provides young people with a regular time to explore their emotions in a supportive environment. As well as a safe space to talk staff will also share strategies and technique that help to look after emotional wellbeing.

Mentoring

Focused on wellbeing children and young people set their own goals and work 1:2:1 with Visyon workers who help them to learn problem solving skills and to work towards achieving their goals.
